Cookies and analytics
This site uses Cloudflare Web Analytics, which counts visits without cookies and without identifying you. The site sets no advertising or tracking cookies, so no cookie banner is needed. Calendly, YouTube and LinkedIn set their own cookies only if you follow a link to them, under their own policies.
Who I share data with
I never sell your data. I use a small number of trusted services that process data on my behalf:
- Calendly for bookings
- Brevo for the book newsletter
- Formspree to deliver contact form messages and newsletter sign-ups
- Google Workspace for email
- Cloudflare for hosting and anonymous analytics
Some of these providers store data outside the UK, including in the United States. Where they do, transfers are covered by the UK International Data Transfer Agreement, the UK Extension to the EU–US Data Privacy Framework, or equivalent safeguards.
How long I keep it
- Enquiries that do not lead to work: up to 2 years, then deleted
- Client records and invoices: 6 years, as UK tax law requires
- Newsletter subscriptions: until you unsubscribe
Your rights
You can ask to access, correct, delete or move your data, object to or restrict how it is used, and withdraw consent at any time. Email hello@karinaabramova.com and I will respond within one month. Every newsletter includes an unsubscribe link.
Complaints
If you are unhappy with how your data is handled, please contact me first. You also have the right to complain to the Information Commissioner's Office at ico.org.uk or on 0303 123 1113.
Changes
I will update this page if the way I handle data changes. The date at the top shows the latest version.
